- A great web host that supports SSI and is easy to use.
Freewebs
- Freewebs supports SSI and is great for beginners. Lots of websmasters & webmistresses use this web host.
Piczo & Funtigo
- I recommend this website for people who do not understand HTML. They have to be the most simple web host sites of all. Piczo and Funtigo do NOT support SSI.
Image Hosts
Photo Bucket
- A great image host that can upload pictures of almost any size! The color pixels can slightly change colors when you upload it.
Image Shack
- Image Shack is also another great image host, I preffer it over Photobucket. Your images do not blur up and they do not resize your image. ^-^
Eevee's Headquarters Upload Center
- My favorite of all image hosts! It is one of my favorite websites, and uploads images very quickly and nicely, and makes high quality images. ^-^
It is not allowed to be used at the moment... =/
Painting Programs
Paint (Start >> All Programs >> Accessories >> Paint) - I use MS Paint all of the time to make buttons, banners, and other things for my website. Everyone uses it and it is very easy to use. ^-^
Adobe Photoshop - You must purchase Adobe Photoshop. It produces high quality images and is very detailed, it also clears up images from MS Paint. (It may shrink if your image is really big.)
Paint Shop Pro - You also have to purchase this product too, however, it is less expensive than Adobe Photoshop. You may also make animations with it. I have never used it, but some of my friends have told me about it.
Search Engines
Google
- Probably the most well-known search engine. I strongly recommend it. ^-^
Spinarak
- A sweet search engine site made especially for Pokemon! =D
Metacrawler
- Many people love it, and gets lots of results. =] This search engine searches other search engines as well. =]
Ask
- A pretty good search engine (also known as "Ask Jeeves"). Pretty good with finding websites that help explain things out. ;)
Pokemon Images
Pokemon Elite 2000
- This site mainly has pictures of Pokemon, which most people get their images for buttons, banners, avatars, etc.
Suta Raito
- I love the artwork, however, there are not very many updates anymore. =/
Arkeis
- This has great artwork! It really amazes me! =]
The Valley of Nightmares
- I love their artwork! =) It looks a lot like Suta Raitos but they have their differences. =)
Subdomains
.CO.NR
- I think that it is a pretty good subdomain, you just need to link back to the website.
.TK
- This is another free subdomain, but it puts pop ups and a .tk toolbar on your website. :/
Short URL
- I think that this is a great subdomain host. They have some very creative urls you can use. :3
Hot Redirect
- This one ends with a .com or .net but says like "hothere.com" or something, but I think that it is creative. :D
Shim
- Another website with subdomains for your website. They're a bit odd, but pretty good to use. ;D
